Justin Yoo’s path into the financial world has been anything but linear. Trained as a Chemical Engineer, he moved through roles in biomedical, electrical, and RF engineering, eventually finding his niche as the person who automated everything. Driven by a lifelong fascination with markets, he taught himself to program and used those skills to streamline robotics workflows, build data‑transformation pipelines, and eventually lead the software team for an international engineering lab.

When the company was acquired, Justin shifted into consulting, guiding large‑scale software implementations for government agencies. Yet finance never stopped calling. He had always been more deeply engaged with markets and personal finance than with programming, but he avoided turning that passion into anything more, fearing that the fastest way to kill a hobby was to turn it into a career.

That changed the moment he saw the impact of a comprehensive Written Retirement Financial Plan. Watching individuals and families move from uncertainty to clarity and witnessing the peace that comes from implementing a structured, evidence‑based plan, made him realize that there was a difference between passion and purpose.
